Lovesac Recompression

Same Day Express has had a long affiliation with the Lovesac Brand of unique and alternative soft furniture. We continue as the recommended carrier of both compressed and uncompressed Lovesac products both throughout NSW and Australia.

SDE is now pleased to offer customers of Lovesac an additional service beyond that of shipping. We now recompress (shrink) Lovesac back into their original packaging for resale on E bay, storage or transport.

How do I book this service and what does it cost?

Bookings for this service can be made on (02) 8805 4646, 24/7. We will require a four hour time frame (during business hours) for us to send a uniformed professional to your premises for the recompression to take place. The service will cost $100 in the Sydney Metropolitan area and an extra $30 if you do not have the original duffle bag the Lovesac came in.

What do I need to provide for the recompression to take place?

Customers will need to ensure there is a single phase (240V) power outlet close to where the Lovesac is to be compressed. It is preferable that ample space is made available around the Lovesac as the exercise is a little labour intensive. If customers still have the original duffle bag (brown/black or green) the cost will be limited to $100. If we need to provide a new duffle bag the cost will be an extra $30. We accept Visa and MasterCard or cash on the day. Unfortunately we cannot offer this service on an account basis.

What if my Lovesac cannot be recompressed on the day?

In around 1% of cases our professionals are unable to recompress the Lovesac into it's original duffle bag with the portable recompression machinery. In this circumstance we may need to take your Lovesac back to the manufacturing facility to be compressed. Your Lovesac will be returned on the following business day at no additional charge.

WAITING TIME

Our Express Services (OM, STD, VIP and SX) include a maximum 10 minutes loading /unloading time. Extra time is charged up to 80 cents per minute thereafter. Economy Services (eg. E31 and E401) include no waiting time. It is suggested customers ensure their consignment is ready at reception or despatch and that arrangements are made at the destination to collect/unload all goods. Before extra time is incurred we will endeavour to contact customers to inform them of extra charges.
